Suddenly, Pokémon. Thousands of them.

I'm not sure if getting myself back into pokémon trains of thought a month before Black and White is a better idea than waiting or not, but it's happened.

I never did finish training up my proper pre-BW team. Need to hunt down some proper Ralts, y'see.

Still. Weavile's coming along nicely. Also tore a hole in one of the Frontier Brains; never bothered with the Battle Tower really before now, so that's been fun.

It -would- be kinda nice to get some more mixed records to put some more people in the Viridian Trainer House, though. I forget how many people it can have, but right now I have two, one of which is a hilariously underlevelled friend who I got to mix in just for free'n'easy battle points, and other of which is the default man. Trying my stuff out on some real teams would be nice. Also, battle points. Always good to have more battle points.

Such is the way of things.

Off to the vet tomorrow morning. Apparantly, tail surgery for the cat will not be as expensive as potentially expected, but -will- be expensive nontheless. Somewhere in the region of £300, they tell me.

Still, better done and a few hundred pounds down than not done and the poor kitty left with that rather nasty, and now quite possibly infected, wound. Poor thing injured himself a couple weeks ago, though we still don't know exactly how. It was unpleasant for him for a few days, after which he seemed to no longer be in pain - but it's not healing, and if anything, getting worse. Thus, he finally has an appointment with the vet.

I'll miss the flicky nature of his tail, but at least he'll be well.

Though, if I may be so bold as to appeal to your collective generosity, any little bit to help blunt the cost of the surgery would be most appreciated.

Off the top of my head

The Good news!
I keep getting additional hours at work. I suspect they won't last indefinately, but I shall milk them for all I can, even if it is going to hold up other projects. May as well get as much money as I can, after all.

Developments on all fronts proceed...albiet slowly.

The Bad News!
I have lost my necklace. The clasp was being weak and useless repeatedly over the past few weeks, but every other time it came loose I noticed the sudden schlump and reattached it properly. Not so today; it vanished sometime and somewhere between when I went to work and when I got home. I'ma ask if anybody saw it at work when I go back this evening, but I'm not exactly in high hopes - it could be on a train somewhere or anywhere between. Sadface. :<

I haven't had much in the way of time to even attempt to continue serious scripting, let alone drawing, of various projects. Productivity is way down. That makes me a sad bunny.

The cat has injured himself. We're not sure how, or even exactly -where-, but there's definately some bleeding going on. He seems mostly okayish with it, providied you don't actually -touch- his tail (the closest area we can identify that may be the injured one), but it's still not exactly good for him.

The...Other News!
My shoulders -were- a massive knot of treachery and pain, now they are merely a dull throb. Which is better, I guess, but it would've been nice if they hadn't argued with the rest of me in the first place, and they're still not -good-.
Illness is 90% dissapated....but not the full 100. >:[

And that's more or less the size of things, right about now.
